Responsible for leading the Donor Understanding and Experience Strategy core disciplines for enterprise excellence in donor experience maturity. Responsible for creating and maintaining a clear, consistent, accurate and dynamic understanding of ALSAC donors, fundraisers and volunteers and the experiences they desire. Responsible for defining a clear vision of the type of experience ALSAC seeks to deliver, linking that vision to the brand strategy and applying it to guide the business strategy for ALSAC. Responsible for documenting donor understanding and experience strategy in a way that is easy for all ALSAC staff to understand and use. Responsible for developing donor journey maps and for utilizing maps to prioritize the top moments of truths (critical donor interactions) for ALSAC. Manages and develops the Liaison, DEM Donor Understanding.Requires thorough knowledge of donor services and DAP processes to be able to accurately communicate needs and program feedback representing donor care. Requires knowledge of customer services, fundraising and general management methods, and business intelligence; speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external communications; demonstrated problem resolution and data analysis skills; strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple, competing projects and allocate resources and time effectively; ability to function in a nuanced environment where responsibilities for donor satisfaction are shared by many departments; ability to anticipate potential problems and plan resolutions; knowledge normally acquired through a Bachelors degree and 5:7 years of experience in marketing strategy, customer marketing, category management or brand strategy. Has at least 2:3 years of hands:one marketing research experience and also 2:3 years of management experience. MBA preferred. Customer experience management experience preferred.
