Job Description:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with the repair and restoration of vinyl tent fabric and various types of associated rental products. The person in this position must be able common sense to carry out detailed instructions and safety rules when operating machines. DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSFollow "Ready to Rent" cleaning procedures; this includes the use of pressure washers, chemicals, compressed air, and dryers.After cleaning, thoroughly check operation of equipment and look for missing fasteners, parts, etc.Perform repair and reconstruction work on a variety of vinyl tent fabric and associated products.Use fabric cutters, fabric welders, leister heat guns, and pneumatic snap setters.Follow patterns and cut material for the production of all items produced.Use the grommet machines to punch brass rings in various products. QUALIFICATIONSMust be at least 18 years of ageDrug FreeMust be able to lift approx. 70lbs, with a full range of motion and dexterityMust be able to read, write and perform basic math computations PREFERREDPrior sewing experience is preferred.Must be able to maintain a cooperative working relationship with co:workers Mahaffey is an equal opportunity employer.
