Tater Tot was found by one of our staff members wandering the streets of Memphis absolutely starving and covered in fleas. Tater had more fleas than hair, seriously. Because of the severe flea infestation and constant scratching, he was almost hairless. He was mere skin and bones; death was certain had he not been rescued. After multiple baths, flea treatments and food, Tater quickly recovered and is doing great. If you should wonder where his name came from - Tater Tot - yep, as you can imagine, he loves them. When he was first rescued, and at th Vets office he began begging and barking for the tech's lunch! Tater Tot has stuck with him ever since.
