Ginger is a 10 pound, very sweet, older lady, @ 8 years of age. She has pretty, soft white/golden brown fur and a fluffy tail. Poor Ginger was found floating in the middle of a river on some driftwood by the local animal control officer (of all people) while he was fishing. Ginger was very emaciated and scared. On a trip to the vet she was found to be heartworm positive. Ginger is now in a foster home with children and other dogs (large and small). She gets along well with everyone and shows excitement when the kids come home from school. She likes to be petted but mostly she prefers to lounge on her doggy bed.
